Project Description
This project covers material for teaching software engineering as applied to robotics. This involves 14 lectures on sw engr and its use in robotics and material related to use of the sw engr with Microsoft Robotics Studio


The lecture series covers:

• Basic software engineering
• Software engineering tools
• Introduction to Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio
• Development using simulation
• Process/System Models
• Communication and Synchronization
• Standard System Architectures
• Hardware interfacing

The course includes a number of exercises to enable students to consider how design decisions such as data flow, synchronization, ... impacts the overall performance of a systems.
