Troubleshooting
Applies to version 1.0.7I can't see the notification icon in the system tray.The icon may be hidden by the taskbar.
- In Windows XP, click the Show All Icons button on the taskbar. You should see the Stopwatch notification icon among any unhidden icons.
- In Windows Vista/7, click the Show hidden icons button on the taskbar. You should see the Stopwatch notification icon among any unhidden icons.
I still can't see the notification icon in the system tray.The icon's notification settings may be set not to allow Stopwatch to show up in the notification area.
- Right-click the taskbar and select Properties.
- Windows XP: On the Taskbar tab, make sure Hide inactive icons is not checked.
- If it is, click customize.
- Scroll through the list and select "Always Show" for the Stopwatch entry. Click OK.
- Windows Vista/7: On the Taskbar tab, click Customize.
- Scroll through the entries until you find Stopwatch. Then choose "Show Icon and Notifications".
I accidentally checked "Hide this warning" on the confirm exit dialog and I want it back.
- Simultaneously press and hold the Shift key and click the Stopwatch entry in the Start Menu.
I can't see the Stopwatch window when I start the program.The program may have saved a start position that is off-screen.
