Features
- Homegroup integration - clipShow will include media found in your Windows 7 Homegroup.
- Windows Home Server integration (PP3 required) - clipShow will allow you to view and create playlists from your Video media stored on your Windows Home Server (please see WHS note below regarding client Media Center requirements).
- Media timeline view - clipShow will organize your media regardless of physical location by timeline, with most recent media displayed first.
- Quick filtering - clipShow provides a quick way to filter your media by year or month, as well as apply search criteria to filter down to a specific list of media
- Quick playlist creation - clipShow allows for a quick playlist to be created based upon a specific year, month or search criteria. In addition, playlists created within clipShow can be saved as an external ASX playlist file that can be played within the Media Center shell
- Multi-media format support - clipShow supports the playback of all media formats supported in Windows 7 (including AVCHD file formats).
- Extender support - clipShow is supported for all current Windows 7 Media Center extenders (XBOX, LinkSys, HP)
Important Note: To ensure the plug-in can access your media on external drives, be sure to associate the source media folder with the Videos Virtual Library by right-mouse clicking on the folder and selecting
Include in library->Videos.
Windows Home Server Important Note: The plug-in requires that Power Pack 3 (now released via Windows Update) be installed on the WHS. The Windows 7 client PC must have the Windows Home Server console and Windows Media Center Connector applications installed for the plug-in to recognize the WHS on the local network.
