Project Description

The Duo Dock App is a re-creation of the DockClock application that comes with the Dell Duo Station suite for the Dell Inspiron Duo.

The reason for this project is to provide the same functionality of this application for users that have upgraded their Inspiron Duo to Windows 8.  The Duo Station software does not launch when the operating system is Windows 8.

Application Features

The Duo Dock App has the following features:

• A clock display that updates the current time
• Alarm with associated sound file and time and day-of-week options
• Option to display a background image or video file
• Option to play a background sound file with time limit
• Turn off monitor for night use
• Detection of docked status with JBL Duo Dock
• Tray icon for manual launching and shutdown
