Project Description

The Variable Information Plug-in is an Author-it plug-in that displays information about all the variables in a library.

Prerequisites

The Word Count plug-in has the following requirements.

• Author-it version 5.5.264.13693 or 6.0.505.17888 installed
• Library with plug-ins enabled
• Permission to create files and folders in the plug-ins folder

Installation

Extract the contents to a folder named VariablesInfo in the Author-it plug-ins folder.

Use

• Click the All Variables button in the Show group on the Author ribbon to display a grid that contains information about all the variables in the library.
• Right-click on the grid and then click Select All to select all the data in the grid.
• Right-click on the grid and then click Copy to copy the selected data to the clipboard.
