Project DescriptionThis project allows for working around an issue with sites not properly inheriting the search navigation settings from a search center in SharePoint 2013.
This project includes the following elements:
- Search Settings Sync Timer Job
- Time Job Admin Page (found under General Application Settings in Central Administration)
Some of the features of the Timer Job:
- Specify the Search Center to inherit from
- Specify a list of Site Collections that you wish to use the Search Navigation from the specified Search Center
- Specify any sites you wish to not inherit the Search Navigation
- Add the Contextual "This Site" Search back to the site's Search Navigation
