Version 1.0.7.1
Compatibility: Outlook 2007, Outlook 2010, Outlook 2013
Documentation
Installation
1. Close Outlook if it is still running.
2. Install the MSI file to your machine. Admin privileges will be required as the VSTO runtime and other dependencies will need to be installed.
3. The default path on an x86 (32-bit) machine is C:\Program Files and on an x64 (64-bit) machine is C:\Program Files (x86).
Usage
1. Launch Outlook. A new tab named ‘Template Manager’ should appear on the ribbon. Click this tab.
2. The above screenshot shows the OTM with a path already filled. If you have never set a path, the ‘Choose Directory’ field will appear blank. Click the ‘Set Location’ button (which will appear red) on the ‘Location’ group and choose a path where your .OTF (Outlook template files) are stored.
3. The path is now filled in with the location you specified and the ‘Set Location’ button turns green. On the ‘Select and Open’ group, the drown-down box now reads ‘Select a Template’, assuming any .OFT files exist in the folder you specified. If no .OFT files are listed, you can save Outlook templates to this folder or select a new folder by clicking the ‘Set Location’ button in the ‘Location’ group.
Note: If you save new templates to this folder after the folder location is set, you will need to click on the ‘Refresh’ button to see the added templates.
4. Select a template from the drop-down list and then click the ‘Open’ button. This will open the selected template in Outlook.
