Run setup.exe in administrator mode to install Access PowerTools Community Edition Add-In.
The add-in will be installed for all users of your PC, and for all MS Access versions - 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007 or 2010 you have installed on your PC.
This version of Add-In was tested and worked OK on :
- MS Windows Vista Ultimate with MS Office 2007;
- MS Widnows XP SP3 with MS Office 2007 and on
- MS Windows 2003 with MS Office 2003.
All the test computers has had Regional Settings equal to "English (US)", that is important to have properly working delimited text export/import functionality used by the add-in. In the future versions this limitation of Regional Settings will be removed.
This version of add-in is delivered just as a Proof Of Concept of Add-In Express feature of having one instance of add-in setup used for different MS Office/MS Access versions, as well as a first step in setting lightweight framework for development and deployment of various MS Access (development) work automation plug-ins.
Note: Test files are located in \TestDatabases subfolder of unzipped setup package.
Attention !: Always make backup of your databases before using this add-in's Restore functionality.
